WH Official: “Every American Should Get Vaccinated” Despite J&J Pause

At a press conference Tuesday, Jeff Zients, the White House coronavirus response coordinator, expressed his confidence in the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, urging Americans to get vaccinated “when it’s their turn,” despite Tuesday’s recommendation from the CDC and FDA to pause use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine over blood clot concerns.
